Group A
Ages 7 – 10 Height: up to 4’11”
Baby Mice, Gingers
One - three years of training
4:00pm Registration
Audition: 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Group B
Ages 11-16 Height: 4’9” – 5’5”
Party Children, Soldiers, Rabbit and Nurse Mouse*
At least three years of training
5:00pm Registration
Audition: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
*Nurse Mouse is on pointe/must bring pointe shoes to audition for this part

Call Backs
All dancers called back need to return at 8:30pm

If needed, dancers should be prepared to stay for more than one audition
All dancers must be age seven (7) by September 11, 2009 in order to audition

First Rehearsals (MANDATORY) at the Detroit Opera House:
Saturday, Sept 12 Between 9:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday, Sept 13 Between 9:00am – 5:00pm
Monday, Sept 14 Between 4:00pm – 9:00pm
More specific times for each role/each day will be handed out at the audition

All following rehearsals will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays
at the Detroit Opera House

Performances
December 3-6, 2009 at the Detroit Opera House (6 performances)

Audition Attire
Girls: Dark leotard, pink tights and ballet slipper (pointe shoes for Nurse Mouse role)
Hair pulled back in a bun.
Boys: White T-Shirt, dark tights, ballet slippers
Bring a photograph of yourself to the audition (it does not have to be a dance photo)

There is no audition fee
No parents admitted to the audition

EXTRAS NEEDED!

SUPERNUMERARY: a non-singing, non-speaking cast member; the equivalent of extras in movies, but in productions of this scale supers often play specific characters, such as servants, waiters, innkeepers, executioners, slave dealers, dreamers of the action, etc.
