"NUTCRACKER" SINGLE TICKETS ON SPECIAL PRE-SALE
DURING THE MONTH OF JULY
DETROIT, Michigan, June 29, 2009...Outside, the July weather may be balmy but it's a winter wonderland inside the Detroit Opera House. Tickets for the Cincinnati Ballet's performances of the evergreen Nutcracker December 3-6, 2009 are on special pre-sale during the month of July. During the "Christmas in July" advance on-sale, patrons may purchase single tickets a full two months in advance of the regular on-sale date, avoiding a price increase when single tickets go on sale September 8. Those who purchase the tickets during the month of July receive the best seats available at prices that are only valid July 31. The pre-sale is an opportunity to purchase tickets to performances that regularly sell out, including the popular matinee performances.
The Nutcracker at the Detroit Opera House is a favorite yuletide family tradition for many families in metro Detroit. Matinee performances on December 5 & 6, 2009 will include live reindeer, face painting, photos with Santa and The Nutcracker, and a special "Sugar Plum Parade" following the performance to meet the dancers on stage.
Tickets for the Detroit Opera House's presentation of the Cincinnati Ballet's Nutcracker range in price from $29-$76. Prices guaranteed through the month of July only.
