The Kirov Ballet makes a rare North American appearance to present the fairytale ballet, The Sleeping Beauty. Based on the classic tale by Charles Perrault, The Sleeping Beauty uses a libretto by Ivan Vsevolozhsky and Marius Petipa with Petipa’s masterful choreography. Tchaikovsky’s timeless score will be played by the Kirov’s live orchestra. The ballet’s stunning sets and costumes were created by Simon Virsaladze.
