Inner creativity is part of what makes us human. In this five-session class Dawn McDuffie will guide participants through a series of writing experiences. The class members will experiment with poetry, narrative, and personal memoir. Whether you write every day or have always dreamed of writing, you will find your creative voice encouraged and expanded.
Ages: 18 and up

* Dawn McDuffie lives in Detroit, and has taught creative writing at the Opera House since 2004. She earned an MFA in poetry from Vermont College in 2003. Her poems have appeared in Rattle, Feminist Studies, and The MacGuffin, and her book, Carmina Detroit, was published in 2006 by Adastra Press.
